Introduction
Hello, my name is Alistair.
Please allow me to introduce myself. My passion for ceramics started whilst at school and further education studying art and design. Later I developed an interest in the craft of bonsai and soon started to build pots for myself and other enthusiasts. I hand build pots from my home studio, now in Lancashire. All pots are produced in a stoneware ceramic and fired to over 1230c. This ensures the ceramic is non porous, frost resilient and suitable to keep outside.
Bespoke Pots
As well as selling pre made pots I also offer a bespoke service. I am happy to discuss any ideas you may have. The build process takes approx. 4- 6 weeks from start to finish. I can also build a pre made pot you may have seen, to a preferred size, colour, glaze or clay body.
